English: Esther vanishing. In seeking to save the Jews from extermination, Esther violated the ban of entering into the Royal Palace. She faints. The king puts his scepter on the breast of his wife as sign of absolution.
Français : L'évanouissement d'Esther. En cherchant à sauver les juifs de l'extermination, Esther a violé l'interdiction d'entrer au palais Royal. Elle s'évanouit. Le roi pose son sceptre sur la poitrine de son épouse en signe d'absolution.
